Is it Live or Memorex?
The concert seemed more important than the showmanship of the band, but the vocals and music were mixed perfectly. The band sounded strong, and it sounded great!
It was odd that the band members didn't interact with each other during the performance.
The placement of the performers seemed dictated by the 'locked camera angles' - they were cemented in place all night, unable to move around the stage.
The direction was limited and quite frankly boring to watch. The 'locked' camera angles were repetitive and not intimate enough.
If you're going to have video, hire a real shooter to videotape the front men so they can move around and connect with the other bandmates and the audience - while keeping one or two cameras locked on the drummer, etc. - giving the video broadcast a real, raw flavor of the concert.
